1. How can I make a payment via EFT (Electronic Funds Transfer)?

An electronic funds transfer is the transfer of money from one account to another by using Automated Clearing House (ACH) network for domestic payments or Fedwire network for domestic and international payments. Please refer to the Bank Accounts section (Outgoing Funds section).

3. How do I open a new bank account for my location?
Only UniversityTreasury is authorized to open any new bank accounts for Rutgers.  A request for a new bank account should be forwarded to the University Treasury. Attn: Richard M. Aks, Vice President for Finance and Associate Treasurer. The request must include the business reason, business location, i.e. name and address, and responsible parties.

No, only University Treasury is allowed to contact our bank representatives.

6. How do I order deposit slips for my location?
Contact University Treasury directly.  Once ordered, the usual turn-around time is approximately one week.

7. How do I obtain deposit bags for my location?
Contact University Treasury directly indicating what size bag is required. Available sizes are 8”x10.5” and 12”x16”. You may continue to use 9"x12", 10"x15", and 14"x20" plastic bags until your unit's supply is depleted.
